The Remotely Christmas Gift Guide | Part III
The way to my heart, from the simply sublime to the totally ridiculous.
‘You’re so hard to buy for!’ my husband and family wail every year. Granted I get a lot of work perks, everyone is too scared to buy me clothes and I already have too much of just about everything (if anything I need a professional de-clutterer for Christmas), but am I really that hard? The last thing I need is more things but shamefully I do love *things*. Gifts are up there in my love languages so I agonise and endlessly research gifts for others and I will admit, thoughtful gifts really do mean something to me too so it’s annoying to be such hard work. These days the best gifts are actually less tangible but still feel-good in every sense. Donations in my name, gift cards for treating my dodgy back or wired brain or contributing to a new piece of art I’ll look at and love every day. Those are always a treat and always so appreciated. Of course I do love a few things to physically open on the day, so I’ve included a few more tangible bits I’m coveting, some rooted in reality, others pure, indulgent fantasy.
While we’re on the subject of gifting, Missoma’s Black Friday sale is now a-go-go so everything is at 20% - 40% all this week. Until midnight GMT today, use my code ‘LUCY30” to get 30% off everything, even on things dropping down to 20% tomorrow. If you didn’t know already, I’ve been designing collections for Missoma for nearly 10 years now, all of which you can find here.
I would suggest these as a can’t go wrong gift for the cool girls or these for something to wear every single day. My mum’s favourite is this one and I genuienly don’t think you can go wrong with this or this if they are gold-chain wearers.
If they’ve got a boho spirit, go for the cord necklace - chic desert aunts and surfer nephews alike would fight over this one - and these feel very in line with the Chloe 2.0 mood and will see them through from turtleneck sweaters to beach dresses and back again.
