Spilling my Screenshots and Saves

AKA a window into my soul... (or at the very least my fantasy shopping cart)

Forget the notes app, I feel like glimpsing into someone’s screenshots is like a window into their psyche. Or is it just me that screenshots everything they like or wants to remember? Most of the time, I screenshot and mentally file under ‘one day’, ‘inspiration’ or ‘shopping’ and then forget all about them so I thought this could be a good way of reminding myself of some of the different directions my eye has been pulled lately. Bit of a mad mix looking back at it all but maybe there’ll be something inspiring or useful for you in here too.

This Prada jacket is living rent-free in my mind’s eye since I saw Alice wearing it. Sigh.

I then found these Prada boots online I also decided to screen shot. The perfect chunky, moto boots - I like that they have minimal hardware too.

Getting ideas for a new mini home renovation project using Fermoie fabric. I particulalrly love this perfect stripe and this now iconic pattern. I just love how versatile nutty brown and caramel colourways are right now too. I like pairing them with postbox red or cobalt blue.

It’s the London Film Festival at the BFI soon and I screenshotted the below (I’m increasingly into *good* horror as I get older which seems like an odd development I know) along with The Outrun with Saorsie Ronan and The Substance which is one of those that you have to see just to join the conversation. Excited to get fully into movie season once home from Spain this weekend.

Also added Gia Coppola’s new movie ‘The Last Showgirl’ with Pamela Anderson to my watch-when-it’s out list.

I saw this desk from antiques dealer Evershed Martin recently and while I daren’t even ask the price (you know when you just know something is wildly out of my league), I couldn’t help but take a snap of it for later. I adore the tone of the wood and the curved shape. I just want to reach out and stroke it (not in a creepy way I promise).

I really liked this octaganol side table by Georgie Wykeham (I’m always drawn to octagons weirdly). I would ‘de-pretty"‘ it a bit with less chintz and some stainless steel, dark wood elements and colourful coffee table books. Would also be quite a fun mini bar with glasses stacked on all the shelves.

Cyd is 100% responsible for convincing me of the merits of a cropped trench when I was otherwise unconvinced. Her Mango one below is now sold out but I went for this one from Massimo Dutti.

Adding this to my U.K hit list… A new foodie offering from the team behind Hauser & Wirth in Somerset.

This image was too good to just re-pin - I needed it in my screen shots. The storage solutions of this closet made me go a bit gooey-eyed. It’s very me in that it’s messy and imperfect but there’s a place for everything.

Artist Fred Coppin sent me a link to his latest pieces the other day and of course I fell for the one called ‘'pets’. I love the large-scale of it and the retro colours; it feels slightly unhinged and Twin Peaks esque which I’m all for.

Another fave artist Ash Roberts’ latest collaboration with Reformation is a feast for the eyes. The most beautiful changing room I’ve ever seen. How could you not want everything you try-on in here?!

If you’re in need of a great plaid shirt, you couldn’t do much better than this one by Polo Ralph Lauren. I saw in store the other day and the fabric is so nice, it feels almost like a washed, textured vintage. I went online and screenshotted so I could remember it. As always with RL, size up x2 if you want that oversized fit.

I can feel myself slipping into winter mode in terms of getting dressed, which for me means black and brown domination and a reliance on texture rather than colour to add interest. However shoes and bags are the exception and this little beaded bottle bag would be the perfect antidote to winter monochomatic oufits. Imagine it with a silky black mini dress, black tights and black overcoat. Chic.

Very into fishy rugs right now….

Been repeat purchasing from Peachy Den lately - this top has got so much wear from me over the last few weeks and this set was a date night hit. They reached out to offer me a piece from their new collection and I snapped this coat as a favourite. Kind of a lovechild between a trench and a house coat, it feels exaclty right for this time of year.

This carpet colour used in a New York townhouse bathroom designed by Beata Heuman... It’s like padding around on a snooker table. Love!

Saw this Bottega Veneta bag on Courtney’s instagram and then Blanca’s which I screenshotted. Pure joy.

Then Allison Bornstein shared this from the Saint Laurent show which I loved. It was the perfect blend of masculine and boho throughout and this just sums it up.

I’ve now got a sample of this mega wallpaper by Mia Raey winging it’s way to me after seeing it in Rita Konig’s new home. Brace yourself because it is *pricey* (it’s entirely made to order) but my God it’s beautiful.

This shot from the latest WNU lookbook sent me on a deepdive into brown suede bomber jackets on Vinted and eBay, and very excited to try the brand’s new rampling trousers.

The gorgeous Claire Rose recomended the below lip mask on IG the other day and I had to screenshot. I didn’t buy but I did save for later. As someone who would love fuller lips but is scared of any kind of permanent/semi-permanent changes/filler, I thought this could be worth a shot.

I discovered Patrick Ireland the other day who make bespoke and custom mirrors. Endless options if you’re in need of something unique or can’t find exactly what you’re after. Reid and Wright is another great option.

I’ve been totally obsessed with Dries the last few seasons. Again with the modern, David Bowie-breed of Bohemia, this look Yan shared was instantly screenshotted to get excited for what’s to come.

Recently re-launched brand De Savary has a lot of great suede blazers and bombers for a pretty great price point when you compare them to others on the market right now. The colours, materials and sizing all look really spot-on too.

I always feel a bit ashamed taking London tips from non-Londoners but trusted-source Denna had me at life-changing burger and chilled orange wine.

Jess posted these recently for hosting and I just love them. I think they’re only shippable in the U.S but I love the concept of them for a dinner at home, even if it’s just 4 people around your kitchen table. Quite a fun, sweet way to be a bit earnest for a minute, spark funny memories or get the conversation going if you’re introducing people for the first time.

A reminder to myself to do a deep dive into Soeur’s new collection; always the best coats and gilets for layering, case in point this oversized chocolate brown overcoat. Side note, they’ve just opened a new store in London on the King’s Road.

A serious case for go big or go home via Architectural Digest…. The florals! xx

Adding a Ranchlands trip to my ultimate bucket-list stay. They’re just brought out a coffee table book too which is on my Christmas list. Anything to mentally transport me to horseback on the open plains.

A style icon if I ever saw one. I sent this to my husband (of course).

And last but not least, I screenshotted this purely because I thought it was a nice little daily reminder for anyone that needs it or is slipping into that scarcity/glass half empty mindset we can all be prone to.
