Deck shoes/Moccasins

I mentioned these back in January here but now the season for them is actually within reach. I saw a girl walking around Soho in some the other day that cemented it for me. She was wearing them with little white ankle socks, wide-leg but kind of cropped jeans and a vintage black coat. CHIC. I bought these (true to size) in the end but they need some hardcore wearing in first. I feel like I need to get them in the rain and really soften them up for that beaten up look. I love suede Moccasins too - these are currently 30% off with a good few sizes left.

Slime Green

In the hope I sound a little bit like Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada; not lime, not emerald, it’s slime and it’s the shade I can feel myself becoming obsessed with this Summer. In truth, it’s a few different shades ranging from Kermit to Shrek. Yes I still love red, always have and always will, but when something becomes such a ‘trend’ I start to feel satiated and in need of some relief. My personality with anything tends to be I overdo something until I can’t physically look at it again for a while. I kill songs, takeaway-orders, go-to snacks and podcasts this same way. So as a salty counterpart to my spicy red addiction, slime green is on the agenda. I was writing this as the Gucci A/W 24 show dropped and looks like slime green, true to it’s namesake, is sticking. Also how good are the Havainas?! Found these via Laurel’s substack.

L-R: Prada, Flore Flore, Havainas
