25 Really Nice Homeware Finds
From H&M home and M&S finds, to artisan ceramics, new lighting and vintage pieces, I'd snap up all of these if I could.
I thought this M&S cushion was such a good high-street find. It’s not remotely trend-led which is often what lets down high street homeware and the simplicity of it makes it look much more premium that its reasonable price tag. I think the olive green is so nice on stripes, neutrals and blues too.
Call me bougie by all means, but I get great pleasure from a nice bath mat - anything to try and be more of a morning person to be honest. This one from one of my favourite stores for bed linen Cologne and Cotton looks very smart and importantly thick and soft for starting your day with.
Of course I was instantly drawn to the baby blue version of this floor lamp by Howe but it comes in a cream and a red too - only negative of the lamp is having to choose because I love them all. I always think Howe’s contemporary designs are espeically great in how well they pair with both antiques and more modern rooms.
I have a weak spot for Gustave Reynaud ceramics and this pretty blue tray popped up on Vinterior this week. You could hang on a wall or use as a decorative dish on a mantlepiece or cabinet.
Perfect little side plates that have a bit of a 70s vibe. I love the spiral detail and the side handles for something a bit different.
Tempted to sabotage my perfectly working toaster to enable myself to get this one. I love the retro, diner-esque design and the postbox red which would be espeically good in a neutral kitchen.
Really into laquer at the moment - I like how it gives a little modern twist to more old school styles and shapes like this urn lamp. On a smaller scale, the lacquer ice buckets are very pleasing too.
Another high street find and again, the main appeal being how classic and simple this throw is so it won’t date. You know I love chocolate brown textiles too. Lovely on a bed or on the arm or back of a sofa.
Lowri Studio is quite a new discovery for me in terms of fabric and wallpaper. I love the bright, grassy green base colour of this design and the pattern feels very Josef Frank; pretty without being chintz. Not that I don’t love a bit of chintz too sometimes…
Non-frilly but nicely made lamp shades can be weirdly tricky to find but Hum has nailed the brief with these. The little perferations create a really nice pattern and add some interest without being twee or too feminine.
