25 New Season Finds for Under £250
The best cashmere jumper I've found on the high street and lots more...
One of the things I get asked for a lot is more affordable options for getting dressed so I’ve tried to root out the best of the high street and boutique brands that feel current without being so ‘on trend’ you’re going to be sick of them next winter. Simple but good quality pieces at great prices. Let me know in the comments what you’ve found out there that you think I’m missing.
Red wool scarf | £125
The whole ‘pop of red’ theory is still working for me and this is a great way to add some spice to an otherwise neutral look.
Long sleeve brown knit | £45.95
I have this semi-sheer fine knit and have truly worn it so much. I like it tucked into denim with a belt for dinner when you want to be cosy but still a bit refined.
Chunky wool/cotton jumper | £129
I love the oversized fisherman style of this sweater. I’m imagining it for long, cold walks on the beach followed by afternoons in the pub. Would look really chic with a glimspe of an Oxford collar underneath too or over a short short skirt with sheer black tights and flats.
Belted black wool coat | £250
Cos does great quality wool and cashmere pieces (honestly my Cos cashmere rivals Khaite’s) so you could do worse than investing £250 in a classic overcoat from the brand if you’re in need of one. A great everyday coat for work but also even more chic with a cap and jeans at the weekend.
Velvet cross-back top | £195
I wore this top for dinner in Copenhagen recently on a trip with Ganni & Barbour ahead of their new collaboration and, not to toot my own horn, but it got lots of compliments. The perfect little black top with vintahe denim or silk trousers to take you everywhere from Friday dinner dates to work Christmas parties and New Year’s Eve.
Leather loafers | £99.95
Very Miu Miu coded, these simple leather loafers actually benefit from not having any hardware or logos on them. They go with everything and won’t date like so many ‘it’ items I myself am guilty of falling for.
Cotton socks | £121
Amazing what a great pair of socks can do to an outfit. From loafers to trainers to strappy heels (yes really), great quality socks in chic, complimentary colours can feel like a full wardrobe reset.
Gold sheer cardiagn | £138
Add this cute little stain bra top underneath (or any other pretty bras you have already) for a cute little evening look that feels just festive enough.
